Amy Watkins Fund

**Founded in 1999 by several of Watkins's classmates, following a deadly   attack on her way home from an internship where she was working with   victims of domestic violence. The scholarship is a tribute to Amy's life   and to the ideals she dedicated herself to as a social worker. The Amy   Watkins Scholarship provides need-based scholarships to future  community  organizers in their pursuit of social justice and a Masters  Degree in  Social Work at Hunter College.
